Most Unconventional Work Experience
I once got paid to be a wedding singer.
My wife and I are now advocates of natural birth and we conduct regular sessions which we call “birthing circles” to serve as a support group for new moms and dads.
I used to be an active member of Bukas Palad Music Minisitry for 10 years, we recorded songs and had concerts here and abroad.
I conduct regular yoga sessions in a studio and with private groups for condos.
I put up and manage this business (ROS Gym Operations and Management) to provide regular health classes and workshps like zumba, yoga, and personal fitness training to hotels and residential condos.
Me and my wife are now advocates of mindful parenting and we recently started “Bahayskwela” which hopes to bring impart mindful parenting practices and tips to parents and secondary caretakers especially in the barrios.
Never thought these work experiences were unconventional but together people would say it’s quite unconventional to be an HR practitioner and a singer and a yoga teacher at the same time.
